As we write this blog, we are still in absolute awe of our fabulous pupils and wonderful teaching faculty at ATA. It was a tall order; 160 LAMDA exams taught and examined entirely on ZOOM, but we have just raised the bar AGAIN. Our pupils scored an amazing 90% Distinction 10% High Merit result. With pupil taking exams in all genres from Public Speaking to Verse and Prose to Acting, across all grades from Introductory to Gold Medal. This is a tremendous achievement and one we are very proud of.

Yet again our pupils and their families have proved that performing arts can be delivered extremely successfully online for those who are dedicated and passionate about continuing their performing arts training. Every time we logged in to Zoom and saw so many faces beaming at us, we were blown away with pride at just how motivated our pupils are.

Preparing for the LAMDA online exam session has been a huge learning curve for our pupils and excellent preparation for this new world we find ourselves in. In fact, following the exam session our pupils have gone on to secure TV and film roles for; Nintendo, Nickleodeon, Logitech, two major films and a new TV series for Amazon Prime (watch this space for more info) We believe that the intense training we did online in preparation for our exams has pushed our pupil’s way ahead when it comes to auditioning via self-tape and Zoom. Congratulations everyone and a huge thank you to our ATA parents for the support at their end. A fantastic achievement.
